BEST PRACTICE AWARDS
The Child Welfare Fund established the Best Practice Awards in 2000 to recognize advocates, caseworkers, supervisors and senior managers who demonstrate best practices in working with families in the child welfare system. Due to schedule changes, there were no awards given during 2005. The next awards will be given in June 2006. The awards are administered by:

FAMILY UNITY AWARDS
The Child Welfare Fund established the Family Unity Awards in 2001 to recognize the parents, relatives and other guardians who have overcome great difficulties to be reunited with their children, and who have helped others do the same. The awards are administered by:

HUNTER COLLEGE SCHOOL OF SOCIAL WORK
The Child Welfare Fund established an endowment at the Hunter College School of Social Work in 1997 to provide scholarships for students who seek to improve the welfare of children. The scholarship is administered by:

WELFARE RIGHTS INITIATIVE LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIPS
The Child Welfare Fund established an endowment in 1998 to provide scholarships to all students who complete the Welfare Rights Initiative leadership/training course that teaches Hunter College students to be leaders and social activists. All students must complete a spring 2005 100-hour internship at WRI to receive the scholarship award. The scholarship program is administered by:
