The Child Welfare Fund established an endowment at the Hunter
College School of Social Work in 1997 to provide scholarships
for students who seek to improve the welfare of children.

WELFARE RIGHTS INITIATIVE LEADERSHIP
STIPENDS
The Child Welfare Fund established an endowment in 1998 to provide
stipends to all students who complete the Welfare Rights Initiative
leadership/training course that teaches Hunter College students
to be leaders and social activists. All students must complete
a 100-hour internship at WRI to receive the stipend.
